Welcome to the Category C & D Licensee Training Area!

This is a dedicated area for Category C & D Licensees. The FLA provides online tools, downloadable instructional material, and face to face training that enables licensees to begin implementing social compliance in an effective and sustainable way.
UPCOMING EVENTS

Licensee Program Training

The FLA periodically holds training sessions and other activities specifically for its licensee affiliates.  We will post here and disseminate via our listserv information about upcoming sessions.

  • The training session that was tentatively announced for July 23 in Washington, DC, has been postponed. There will be a training session in conjunction with our October Board meeting. For more information, please contact Christine Briscoe, Category C Licensee Program Manager, at cbrisoe@fairlabor.org
  • The recording of the May 23 webinar that was held for Category C Licensees is available in the portal on the page of Additional Resources for Category C Licensees. This webinar covered recent developments, program requirement, and a review of resources available including on the new FLA website. Online Resources and Toolkits

Below you will find a range of toolkits and online resources. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

  • New! The FLA has posted an introductory packet for C licensees in the portal which includes affiliation steps, useful web links, key FLA documents, and a Category C Licensee Fact sheet. Log in to retrieve it HERE or contact Christine Briscoe at cbriscoe@fairlabor.org
  • Introduction to the FLA online module: A self-directed interactive, online learning module, this introduces affiliates to the FLA and what’s entailed in being an FLA-affiliated company. It contains short end of section quizzes and there is also an accompanying workbook that you can submit to the FLA upon completion.
  • Licensee Tool Kit: This contains online guidance material on the building block obligations for Category C licensees that C licensees may also be referred to in their self-assessment results.
  • Reference Documents: These include sample documents that licensees can use to start moving their compliance programs forward, i.e. sample supplier letters, Word version of the Code of Conduct, FLA Audit Instrument, and many others.
  • Additional Resources for Category C licensees page: This page includes links to previous webinar recordings as well as past meeting summaries and additional guidance material from the FLA that licensees may find helpful. Guidance documents for the assessment portal can also be found here.

To access other tools available to FLA affiliates, please visit the Training Portal (http://tp.fairlabor.org), the Assessment Portal (http://ap.fairlabor.org) and the FLA website (www.fairlabor.org).

If you are C licensee who is already registered on the Assessment Portal, you can use the same username and password to access the resources listed above.

If you do not yet have a password but are an FLA licensee, click here to apply for a username and password.

  • New! The FLA has made available additional translation of the Enhanced Code, which can be found by logging in and going to the reference Documents or Additional Resources Pages.

  • The FLA has posted Word versions of the Enhanced Workplace Code of Conduct, in English and other available translations, under the Reference Documents, and on the page of Additional Resources for Category C Licensees. You will also find there the Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing, which were approved at our February 2011 Board Meeting.

SELF-ASSESSMENT TOOLS

Capacity Building is most effective if you are fully aware of the situation at your company and factories. The FLA Assessment Portal offers self-assessment tools that are free for our members and their suppliers. To learn more take a look at the Assessment Portal.
