Training workshop play an important role in raising awareness and management know - how on CSR / compliance issues for factories. The FLA training workshop are open not only to suppliers of FLA affiliates but also to factories from the wider supply chain. The collective form of training lowers the cost for individual factories and at the same time offers the advantage of bringing multiple perspectives to the room, enabling cross - learning and experience sharing for tackling common challenges of the industry.

In 2011 - 2012 the FLA will continue to organize joint Labor & Environment training workshop with the environmental consultancy Greennovate and extend them to other regions likes South China to meet local factories' training needs. We will also try to offer training workshop on more advanced topics through cooperation with other partners. Meanwhile, in order to strengthen the FLA's training offering for factories in various countries and engage newly developed service providers, we plan to pilot a few training workshop in Vietnam, India and Turkey this year. The number of training workshops planned for each location in 2011 - 2012 is as follows. The definitive training dates and subjects are to be confirmed with local service providers.
